LIST OF PARTICULARLY ENCOURAGED INVESTMENT PROJECTS

1. Projects of 80% and above of total products for export.
 

2. Projects on production of new high-yield breeds, including breeds with high-economic effect  for agriculture, forestry, and aqua-culture.
 

3. Projects of over 50 % total products for export, using more than 500 employees, and the value of domestic raw-materials amounting to 30 % of total production expenses, especially projects on investment in the following fields: aqua-products and farm-produce(manioc, corn, coffee, pepper, cashew nuts) processing, rubber production for export.
 

4. Projects on production of new, precious materials; projects on application of new biological technology, electronic technology, modern technique to manufacture equipment in telecommunications, and IT fields.
 

5. Projects on investment in the areas of low socio-economic conditions ( consisting of Xuyen Moc District , Long Dat District , Chau Duc District )should meet one of the following requirements:
 

a. Rearing and growing, processing of aquatic, agricultural and forest products with over 50 % of total products for export.

b. Exporting over 50 % of total products, using more than 500 employees.

c. Exporting from 30% of total products, and using raw materials available in the Province ( with the value of domestic raw materials amounting to 30 % of total production expenses).
 

6. Projects on manufacture of mechanical, electric,electronic components and spare parts of high value added ( the product added in value from 30% up), or using lots of raw materials in country( with their value making up 30% of total production expenses).
 

7. Projects on processing minerals exploited in the Province.
 

8. Projects on investment in the high-tech industry in Provincally Industrial Zones.
 

9. Projects of treating waste ( residential and industrial waste), especially in duch densely populated areas as Vung Tau City, Ba Ria Provincal Town, and Tan Thanh District .
 

10.Projects of treating sea pollution, environmental protection of Ba Ria-Vung Tau sea area.
 

11. Projects of investment in the forms of BOT, BTO, BT contracts.
